| openss7 0.9.2.D.rc2 ReleasedDescription: OpenSS7 Old News.Approved for Immediate Release Jul 11, 2006 (Edmonton, Alberta -- Jul 11, 2006) OpenSS7 today announced Release Candidate 0.9.2.D.rc2 of the OpenSS7 Master openss7 package. The OpenSS7 Master Package is a single autoconf/RPM tarball that contains all of the other OpenSS7 packages in a single build environment. It is primarily used by the maintainers of the OpenSS7 packages during development. This is the second release candidate for the fourth OpenSS7 Master Package release for Linux Fast STREAMS. The OpenSS7 Master Package contains all of the OpenSS7 release packages in a single autoconf tarball. Unfortunately the strss7 component in this package will be stripped for public release. Release candidates are only available to subscribers and sponsors of the OpenSS7 Project: you will need authorized access to view or download a release candidate. This release is primarily to support additional compilers, architectures and recent Linux distributions (SuSE 10.1, SLES 9) and kernels (2.6.17). It includes:

This is an subscriber alpha release of the package. Please see README-alpha in the release. Deprecated. Download the latest openss7 package version above instead. As with other OpenSS7 releases, this release configures, compiles, installs and builds rpms for a wide range of Linux 2.4 and 2.6 RPM-based distributions, and can be used on production kernels without patching or recompiling the kernel. This package will be publicly released under the GNU Public License Version 2.
