OpenSS7 software is, for the most part, released under strict AGPLv3. Some components have licensing that depends on the origin of imported code. Test programs are typically restricted in use and purpose to testing the OpenSS7 stack. Header files once had a wide open license. Commercial licensing is available from OpenSS7 Corporation.

This page contains information about how to subscribe to or sponsor the OpenSS7 project. Resale of cards, subscription and sponsorship are the three primary ways that the OpenSS7 Project receives funding to continue development.
