| OpenSS7 INET ReleaseDescription: OpenSS7 Old News.Approved for Immediate Release Apr 15, 2003 (Plano, Texas -- Apr 15, 2003) OpenSS7 anounces release of the LiS STREAMS Beta release for the STREAMS INET kernel implementation. This is stable code and has been bashed on a fair while. (See included test programs for a vigorous workout.) It implements almost all SOCKSYS functionality (except IP routing control streams) and provide Transport Provider Interface (TPI) suitable for use with XOpen XNS/XTI 5.2. iBCS ioctls have yet to be implemented. This is a patch release that fixes a few minor bugs from the previous release. This code is quite solid. You should be able to load and run it against LiS 2.16/Linux 2.4.x with no problems. It has been tested against 2.4.18 on SP.
