ACB-56 Device Driver

Overview:- |
The ACB56 card is a single V.35 ISA card available from SeaLevel based on the Zilog MPCC chip.
These cards available directly from Sealevel.
The ACB56 driver provides SS7 support for these cards. The driver provides the following
interfaces:
- Local Management Interface (LMI)
- Signalling Data Terminal Interface (SDTI)
- Signalling Link Interface (SLI)

Work on this driver started in January 1999. This driver was moved to the STREAMS version of
the OpenSS7 SS7 stack in 2000.

Status:- |
The ACB56 driver is in the Maintenance stage.
If there is sufficient interest, the driver will be enhanced to support the mutliple V.35 PCI
cards also available from Sealevel and based on the same Zilog chip.

This device driver is a Linux 2.4.x loadable module which depends on the ISA facilities of the
Linux 2.4.x kernel series.

The ACB56 driver is an integral part of the OpenSS7 SS7 stack and will be included in upcoming
major releases. The ACB56 driver has been publicly released in the following release
packages:
