User Adaptation Layer Management (UA LM)

Overview:-	The UA Layer Manager is a daemon program which reads configuration files and configures the SIGTRAN stacck for operation. In addition, the UA Layer Manager is responsible for logging evens and statstics and for performing routing maintenance on the SIGTRAN stack.

History:-	This component started in September 2000.

Status:-	This component is in the Coding stage.

Dependencies:-	This component depends upon the Layer Management Interface to the various components of the OpenSS7 stack.

Design:-	A design has not yet been released to the public.

Documentation:-	Documentation is not yet publicly available.

Test Results:-	Test programs and results are not yet publicly available. When tests results are available, conformance test results will be available here, and performance test results will be available here.

Release Package:-	The UA Layer Manager is an integral part of the OpenSS7 STREAMS stack and can be found in the daemons sub-directory in the strss7 release code. Please see the Downloads Page for more information.
