Bug Reports

Description: OpenSS7 Resources Bug Reports.

Let common sense be your guide when reporting bugs. Please see the System Requirements and read the installation instructions that come with the package before reporting what appears to be bugs. Also, please see the FAQ page Where do I report bugs and fixes? for more introductory information.

The mailing list is a proper place to report bugs. If you have a large amount of information in a bug report (over 40k) see Large Attachments.

We also have a GNATS based Bug Tracking System. You can enter your confidential or public bug report or feature request online in the following databases:

For additional information on the Bug Tracking System, see the online Help page.

Unless your organization has arranged a support agreement with OpenSS7 Corporation your problem report will be handled on a first-come, first-served, time-permitting, basis. Organizations with support agreements and fixed turn-around contracts will be given preference.

You may also mail your software bug report to openss7-bugs@openss7.org. and it will reach the Bug Tracking System. If you provide less information than is listed above, it may be difficult to assist you. Please remember that there is NO WARRANTY on code released under a Public License. For commercial support services, see the OpenSS7 Corporation website.

All fields and attachments of all problem reports submitted will be viewable either publicly (the default database) or by other project sponsors (the sponsors database), unless you mark "Confidential" to 'yes'. Information attached to a bug report and mailed to our mailing lists cannot be marked confidential. Do not complete, attach or submit confidential information with your problem report! You have been warned.
